The highly anticipated Pixar Pier has opened at Disney California Adventure Park.
Formerly Paradise Pier, the revamped area is split into four areas: The Incredibles Park, where you’ll find the Incredicoaster (formerly California Screamin’); Toy Story Boardwalk; Pixar Promenade, with carnival-style games based on Disney Pixar movies and shorts; and, to debut in 2019, the Inside Out Headquarters.
New experiences also include the Lamplight Lounge, a gastro pub serving familiar dishes from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s (think burgers, grilled cheese and deviled eggs). The restaurant continues to serve the Lobster Nachos that were a crowd favorite when it was the Cove Bar. Of course, a kids’ menu is also available.
Be sure to stick around for the Paint the Night Parade, which now features an “Incredibles” float.
