Missing winter already? You don’t have to this July at Squaw Valley in Nevada. The ski mountain is extending its ski season through the 4th of July weekend following the Lake Tahoe area’s snowiest winter on record. Not only can you ski all day, but enjoy a beach and barbecue at Lake Tahoe!
Squaw Valley received 700 inches of snow during the winter months and is continuing to make snow to extend its ski and snowboard season. The mountain was home to the 1960 Winter Olympics and features 33 lifts to its six mountain peaks, 4,000 acres and 2,800-plus vertical feet of ski terrain. Featuring a European-style base village, visitors this summer can feel as if they have traveled to the Alps in the peak of winter.
