Royal Caribbean International has announced it will offer certified scuba diving programs through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, becoming the only cruise line to offer onboard PADI diving.
New or experienced divers will have an array of diving programs, including 30-minute Try Dive introductions, Open Water Diver courses to complete diving certification begun before the cruise, and refresher courses for already certified divers. The Open Water certification will allow passengers to begin training online before the cruise, test dive in ship pools, and complete certification with open water dives in tropical destinations like St. Thomas and Belize.
The exclusive PADI Five Star Dive Centers will be found on 10 Royal Caribbean ships, including Oasis-, Freedom- and Voyager-class ships, and Quantum-class’ Anthem of the Seas.
