Jimmy Buffett’s first Margaritaville Beach Resort opened in the Hollywood, Florida, to much fanfare (and a private concert by the singer for all guests during the grand opening weekend). Now, Margaritaville Beach Resort is poised to bring its chill, beach vibe to Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.
The 285-room Margaritaville Beach Resort Grand Cayman will be set on picturesque Seven Mile Beach, minutes from the island’s top attractions. Margaritaville will feature an open-air lobby with a soothing beach color scheme, comfortable lounge seating and a License to Chill bar, not to mention a number of restaurants, including the property’s signature restaurant, YARA, which means “place” for the Caribbean’s Indigenous Taino people.
Additional details about the on-site amenities, services and facilities at Margaritaville Beach Resort Grand Cayman will be announced in the coming months. Plans include a two-pool layout including a tranquility pool and activity pool, as well as a gym and retail space selling Margaritaville merchandise.
Margaritaville Beach Resort Grand Cayman is slated to open in the Cayman Islands 2017.
