After nearly 30 years, Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will stop featuring its Electrical Parade nightly down Main Street.
Debuting in 1977, the Orlando-area parade of floats at Disney World decorated in colorful lights has been a fan favorite for generations. The parade was put on hiatus between 1991 and 1999, as well as 2001 to 2010, so it has yet to be determined if the cancelation will be permanent this time.
The parade will end its Main Street run October 9, 2016, and travel to Disneyland in California for a limited run.
