New England’s Lake Compounce amusement park in Bristol, Connecticut, has reopened for the summer season with a new roller coaster. The new coaster, Phobia, is the first of its kind in the northeast.
Phobia Phear Coaster travels at speeds of up to 65 miles per hour and climbs 15 stories high while moving forwards and backwards and inverting at 150 feet in the air. It is the first triple launch coaster to be found in New England or the northeast.
