Disney World Resort is bringing two new themed lands to its Hollywoods Studios theme park: Toy Story Land and a Star Wars-themed land.
Fans of Disney-owned Pixar’s Toy Story will love seeing the characters and sets from the cartoon recreated and brought to life in Toy Story Land. Andy’s toys will be found in Andy’s backyard, where the little green aliens will take visitors on a ride in flying saucers and a Slinky Dog roller coaster will provide some thrills.
Details on the new Star Wars area of the park are still under wraps, but Disney blogs report a fully immersive experience and a secret mission on the Millennium Falcon. Of course, the themed area will surely look like a galaxy far, far away. Currently, Hollywood Studios offers the Star Tours attraction, which may remain a focus of the new land.
Disneyland in California is also receiving a Star Wars-themed land, replacing its Tomorrowland area of the park.
