AAA Travel has forecasted a record-number of travelers will be hitting the road this Thanksgiving, predicting nearly 47 million travelers journeying 50 miles or more – the largest flux of traffic since 2007.
AAA’s travel period begins Wednesday, Nov. 25, through Sunday, Nov. 30, 2015. With lower gas prices and an improved economy, families are returning to the roads for holiday travel. Of the predicted travel, 42 million will take their trips by car, with just 3.6 million flying for the holidays.
