Summer may be ending, but its still prime time for the beach. To celebrate Indian Summer, Wildwood, New Jersey, on the famed Jersey Shore, will be the home of the Boardwalk Bunk-Down, a campout on its boardwalk and piers.
Hosted by Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks, the 24-hour Boardwalk Bunk-Down will take place Saturday, October 3, beginning at 11 a.m. and ending on Sunday, October 4 at 11 a.m.
Campers are invited to set up tents and sleeping bags on Adventure Pier and then spend the day at Mariner’s Pier to enjoy the rides and amusements. In the evening, a movie under the stars with free popcorn will be shown under the Great White roller coaster and Morey’s S’mores Bar will be cooking up S’mores. Many of the boardwalk games will remain open at night, as well. The next morning, a complimentary continental breakfast will be served.
The event is $55 per person, with advanced registration by October 1. (Season ticket holders can receive discounted ticket prices of $35.)
