Looking to do something different? Sea Island resort in coastal Georgia is hosting its first-ever Glow-in-the-Dark Weekend over Columbus Day Weekend, October 9 to 11, 2015.
Beginning Friday afternoon, guests of all ages are welcome to visit the Spa at Sea Island to get glowing for the weekend with glow-in-the-dark nail polish, hair accents and lip applications ($15 to $50) to make guests stand out once the lights go down. That evening a variety of activities for kids and adults take place, including a nature presentation about animals and plants that glow in the dark (free), blacklight volleyball tournament (free), glow-in-the-dark Ping Pong (free) and a stargazing session ($35 per person).
The event continues Saturday night with a special glow-in-the-dark dinner ($58 per person), with sparkly cocktails and neon desserts.
Accommodations at Sea Island resort include The Cloister Sea Island, Ocean Lodge, and King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort.
