Georgia’s Sea Island resort, located in the Golden Isles, has launched a Sensational Seuss Extravaganza celebrating Dr. Seuss.
Through August 4, the five-star resort is offering a resort-wide celebration in partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises. The resort is offering a rare glimpse of the “Art of Dr. Seuss,” highlighting the author’s treasured work. The collection includes a 170-pound bronze sculpture of the Cat in the Hat, 3D “Unorthodox Taxidermy” sculptures, and an entire section devoted to the artwork about the Grinch and Who-ville.
Throughout the exhibit, themed activities will take place, including story time and crafts for kids. During the holiday season, the resort will transform into a wintry Who-ville wonderland inspired by Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
Guests of Sea Island’s Cloister at Sea Island, Lodge at Sea Island, and the Inn at Sea Island can enjoy the installation and activities, with rates beginning at $185 per night.
