The 17th annual Read Across America event takes place March 2 to 7, 2015, celebrating Dr. Seuss and his classic “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” Presented by the National Education Association (NEA), bookshops and libraries around the country will be offering special Cat in the Hat-themed events, encouraging children to read while celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
The Read Across America Cat-A-Van Tour will be bringing the Cat in the Hat to three states during the special event, including Oklahoma on March 2; Texas on March 3 and 4, and Louisiana on March 5 and 6. Follow #readacrossamerica to find more information on activities near you.
