California’s first theme park, Knotts Berry Farm, has unveiled its plans for a new adventure that will “surface” in the spring of 2015. Voyage to the Iron Reef will be an interactive 4D adventure featuring the Kraken Queen.
Located on the Boardwalk, the Kraken Queen and her army must be defeated by Knotts’ guests, who ride in a four-person submarine that lets them step right into a video game.
The new ride will be Knott’s Berry Farm’s biggest new addition in 2015. Local visitors can enjoy unlimited visits with no blackout dates if they purchase a sea on pass. The pass is currently on sale with an installment plan: six payments of $13.25 plus tax, which includes one admission for 2014, as well.
