Anticipation is building for the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley, which is opening at Universal Orlando Resort this summer at an unconfirmed date. The anticipation grows now that Universal has finally released details and a first look at the action-packed new ride, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.
Riders will join Harry, Ron and Hermione as they break into Gringotts bank to retrieve an object that will help them defeat Lord Voldemort, just like in the movie. The race includes a tour of Gringotts bank and marble hall, a 60-foot, fire-breathing dragon, the underground vaults, an encounter with Bellatrix Lestrange and even Lord Voldemort himself. The ride utilizes 360-degree sets, 4K digital high-def animation, state-of-the-art 3D and live special effects.
