St. Pete’s Beach and downtown St. Petersburg, Fla., are opening two new hotels in time for summer, the first new hotel on St. Pete Beach in more than 20 years.
Hotel Zamora will be a boutique hotel overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The 72-room hotel’s name comes from Spain, and the upscale hotel will have a Spanish-Mediterranean look with onsite dining and a rooftop lounge. Junior and two-bedroom suites will provide separate living and sleeping space, with sofa beds and kitchenettes.
In downtown, the extended-stay Staybridge Suites opened last week near the Tampa Bay Rays’ stadium. Rooms also feature separate sleeping and living areas, with kitchenettes.
Both hotels offer outdoor pools.
