Today marks the 25th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, and the park is celebrating in style.
This morning, at 10 a.m., the park’s Vice President Dan Cockerell will lead a rededication ceremony, which will honor those cast members who have been with the park since it originally on May 1, 1989 as Disney-MGM Studios.
Tonight, “Stars of the Studio,” featuring Disney’s popular characters Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Captain Jack Sparrow and more will ride in a motorcade up Hollywood Boulevard at 7 p.m. to the Sorcerer Hat Stage, where a dance party will take place.
The party will end with a fireworks show at 9:30.
