After more than 10 years, the Miracle Strip Amusement Park is reopening on Panama City Beach. The original park, which first opened in 1963, was closed more than 10 years ago. Now, the park has received a location and new rides to return the former amusement park glory to the Panhandle beach town.

Located across the street from Pier Park where the former amusement park’s original carousel resides, Miracle Strip now occupies 14 acres and features 20 rides, a water playground, carnival games and batting cages. New rides include Tea Cups, bumper cars, swing planes and a small roller coaster. A food court with a number of vendors is located in the park’s south section.

The park held its grand opening on April 19. All-day passes to the park are $28.
