Historic Philadelphia is kicking off the season with the reopening of Franklin Square next week on April 9.
A family-friendly play place, Franklin Square in Philadelphia features mini golf, playgrounds and its iconic carousel and marble fountain. The square will reopen on Wednesday at 1 p.m. and remains open through December 31, 2014. Free events taking place at the square include the upcoming Great Egg Hunt on April 20, as well as Memorial Day, Independence Day, and New Year’s Eve holidays.
Also reopened at the square is SquareBurger, which features burgers, hot dogs, fries, and ice cream treats. The restaurant reopened on March 29.
