We booked this hotel for an overnight stay to Cedar Point. We did not want to spend $200 for a room but also did not want to stay at a 1-star hotel. We found this hotel, the pictures and reviews look good and the price seems reasonable. When we arrived, we thought a basic hotel. Walked into the lobby to check in and was impressed on how nice it looked. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. Went to the room, and saw a basic hotel room that did need some updating.
The indoor pool, sauna and hot tub was great. Good size pools for indoor and outdoor. My son said the outdoor pool was heated as well as the indoor pool being heated. The best part of the stay was the continental breakfast. My kids are picky eaters and they loved the food. I was expecting a typical breakfast. Cereal, muffins, etc. What we got was unexpected. There was eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, cheese potatoes with bacon, fried chicken and waffles and more. The workers did a great job of keeping the breakfast area clean. The location of the hotel is good as well. While not right next door to Cedar Point, it is about a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point and it is right off of Highway 2. less then 5 minutes from all the places to eat, shop and other attractions on Milan Road. Besides the rooms needed some updates, I did not see anything wrong with this hotel and will be going back for our overnight stays to Cedar Point.
