Interesting hotel - just watch for the amenities fee.

The stay was great. The hotel interesting and fun. The room was great.

However, I resent having to pay a $16.50 amenities fee - which was not made clear at the time of booking. I also paid $55 to park overnight. And when I asked if I could keep my car there for a few extra hours I was told that the valet is a separate company - and they would charge me an additional day of parking. That left a bad taste in my mouth.

I recommend you just bake the $16.50 amenities fee into the cost of the room and make it invisible to me.

Two years in a row, my friend and I stay at The Verb to be close to Fenway for a Spartan Race. The decor and theme are really fun. The room was perfectly clean. The staff was outstandingly welcoming, helpful and eager to please. The location could not be better being across the street from Fenway, and in the middle of lots of shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend!!!
