This hotel was great for two things, the view and the pools. Every thing else they try to upcharge on. $10 for a WiFi password per day/ PER DEVICE, they don’t clean your room, the a/c hardly works, the fan hardly works, our safe didn’t work at all. It seems if you don’t purchase all inclusive, they don’t care two sh**s about you. Extremely unsatisfied. Will not be referring or returning.

We decided on the El Cid Castillia and never looked back. Our family has been vacationing Mexico for the past 15 years and look forward to it every year. From the minute of arriving at the resort and being greeted by Manuel we knew we were in for a great holiday. After checking in which was very quick Manuel took our bags to our room and showed us around and explained everything to us. Btw he also took us on his day off to a soccer game in which he is the coach. After settling into the room we headed down to the pool where Genaro brought us a couple of refreshing drinks and made sure that we were treated like royalty. He would be our server from that point on and boy did he do a fantastic job. He went above and beyond to please. Thanks buddy. After supper we always headed to the lobby bar for drinks and to socialize. We met a beautiful young lady named Rosario who is a real genuine person. She made our son of 10 feel right at home and spoiled him greatly. We were so lucky to meet her and we have stayed in contact since. After meeting her family she took us to restaurante el meson de los laureanos in El Quelite, what a beautiful place to visit and the food was truly authentic Mexican cuisine. One last mention would be Noe. He is the customer service rep that walks around making sure that everyone is enjoying themselves and are being well cared for. He is a great asset to the resort and made our trip very enjoyable. Thanks to everyone for a great vacation. See you all soon
