Overview

The Inn by the Lake in South Lake Tahoe offers families 100 guestrooms and suites with king and queen beds, free Wi-Fi and coffeemakers. Some suites offer full kitchens and multiple bedrooms. Pets are welcomed in some rooms of a fee of $25 per pet, per night.

The Inn has an onsite pool, open seasonally, and is close to the Heavenly Ski Resort, where families can ski and snowboard throughout the winter, and hike in the summer. Biking and snowshoeing are also offered seasonally. Off the property, families can enjoy bowling at Tahoe Bowl, which is just across from the hotel. Tahoe Bowl offers families bowling, pool tables and arcade games

Onsite dining is available at the Bear Beach Cafe, which is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Great location and value!

This property was within a few minutes' drive to many restaurants and shopping (e.g., Shops at Heavenly/Heavenly Gondola). There were some within walking distance, but we didn't attempt it during our stay. The property is across the street from the lake, but still offered beautiful partial lake views with nice balconies. Rooms were clean, large, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very pleased for the price.

Perfect getaway at Lake Tahoe

This hotel is perfect for a nice getaway at Lake Tahoe. For less than a $100 I got a really modern room at a great location. Everything was updated and modern. I don't think you will find a better value anywhere else.
