Now, this is a casino! Talk about an awesome place! Upon walking in you are mesmerized by their beautiful tropical display and then you ride the escalators up to the actual casino. Now, this isn't a huge casino or anything, but the space they do have is utilized very well. They have a bunch of popular slots that were hitting very very well for me surprisingly. Also, the players club gave me and my friend $30.00 in free play which was awesome! Wasn't expecting that much. It looks like this place has a large buffet area and a nice food court. They also have a large and nice non-smoking area too. Free drinks area offered as well. I was on a Pittsburgh casino tour and this one ended up being the nicest of them all. Knocked the huge ones like The Rivers and The Meadows out of the park. This is one of the best casinos ive ever been to and that's saying a lot considering I've been to many! I will definitely try to come back here especially if I get some free play offers in the mail in the next couple of months. Wouldn't mind staying in the resort. Thanks Wheeling Island you made my trip to the Pittsburgh area even better!

The visited this casino while on a business trip. The staff was very friendly. The casino is spacious and I believe they are updating it. The environment was really different for me. I'm used to walking into casinos and having fresh air. Only smelling smoke (cigarettes) when wandering near the smoking section. This is not the case here. The smoking area is in the front of the casino (and the majority) and the non-smoking area is in the back. I had to hit my inhaler just to get to the non-smoking section lol. Besides almost having an asthma attack, I had a good time.
