Virgin Hotels Chicago, the first of Richard Branson’s foray into hotels, is a 250-room property located in the landmark former Dearborn Bank Building in Chicago’s Loop district. Rooms are two separate rooms divided by a sliding door, with a “Sleeping Lounge” and a “Dressing Room.” The 250-room hotel includes one-bedroom suites, enlarging the living and sleeping space with a sofa. Rooms are outfitted with a king bed or two full beds, double vanity sinks, apartment-style closets and makeup tables and small refrigerators stocked with items at convenience store prices. Wi-Fi is complimentary, and pets are welcome at the hotel, which will provide dog beds for furry friends.
Onsite dining is available at the classic American diner, Miss Ricky’s and with grab-and-go items at the coffee bar, TwoZeroThree. The Commons Social Club and Rooftop Bar provide hip, social space for adults.

Had a great stay over the weekend. The location was convenient and close to a lot of the places we wanted to check out. Loved the rooftop vibes. Earnest and Janelle were very attentive over the phone every time I needed something. Will stay here again next time I’m back in Chicago!

Yasmine Lauren Henry and Martin at the coffee shop all do a great job. They are friendly and fast. Only complaint I have is they switched to matcha syrup for my usual drink (calm and collected) and it’s too sweet now
