Stayed here last weekend while on a road trip. The place is very clean and super nice. It is an older beach motel but was great. I would stay again for sure. The room had a kitchenette!!! The guy at the front desk was awesome. This place is one block from the Boardwalk and beach. Lots of good places to eat nearby.

After several years of staying at the on the other side of town, we researched the area to find better accommodations that would put us closer to the attractions that where more of an interest to us.
I called to book the a room with the owners, Yes the owners of the Sunburst I&II, not a staff member. They help to pick a room that would be more suited for me a my family.
The entire time I was on the phone with them I never felt pressured to book a room. It was just like I was talking to my father.
We booked an efficiency suite on the lower level of the Sunburst II, and the website pictures are real representative of the room. It was clean, well taken care of, there is staff that will clean your room everyday and provide fresh towels and linens.
Full kitchen utensils, pots and pans, plates, cups and bowls. They even provide your with dish soap and a sponges.
Local cable TV not some "hotel" TV, but fully functioning cable TV.
At the Sunburst II you get your own private parking space. Not First come, first serve.
OK now to get a little technical...
The Sunburst II has no elevator. So must carry your luggage up the stairs, to get to the rooms and if you ave mobility problems (leg, knee, foot, etc...) this is a problem after walking the board walk.
The beds are hard in my opinion.
There is only one AC unit in the the entire suite, which is located in the living room, and there is no way to direct the cool air towards the bedrooms.
