We stayed at the Lion Square Lodge over Labor Day Weekend. The hotel is located at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola (operates during summer), and it is an easy bike ride or walk to Vail Village. The front desk staff was extremely helpful on check-in. The hotel offers complimentary valet parking, bikes, and has a gym, outdoor pool and two hot tubs. Drink service is available at the pool by calling the in-house restaurant.
We booked the cheapest room available. It included a microwave, two queen beds, and a mini-fridge. It was extremely clean and well appointed. The Aveda bath products are a nice touch. Our room faced the parking lot, which got a bit noisy at night due to some weddings. The rooms don't have AC, but they do have a fan you can put in the window which cooled the room down at night easily.
Overall, great stay and would definitely stay at the Lodge again.
