The 56 rooms at the Legacy Vacation Resorts-Steamboat Hilltop offers room for four to eight guests, with full kitchens, flat-screen TVs, DVD players and free Wi-Fi. The resort is close to skiing, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities in Steamboat Springs, but it also has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and game room for kids and teens. Shuttle service is also available to the downtown areas for shopping and dining. There is no dining at the resort, so families should utilize the kitchens in their accommodations or the outdoor grilling area. A few other amenities include laundry facilities, a business center, exercise room and vending machines. The front desk is open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Nice place,a few quirks

Staff was very receptive, rooms were a little outdated but clean. Quite a few stairs to get to reception area. Don't bring your luggage in until you know where your room is so you don't have to lug it upstairs. With a two bedroom you might get lucky and get a unit and a lockout unit or you'll get a 2 bedroom where the bedroomsare upstairs. Not conducive to walking to town.

Not Luxury

The resort is not a luxury stay. The room was very dated and worn. However, the pool, hot tubs and saunas were very clean and enjoyable. This resort would be perfect for anyone who skis and doesn't care about luxury, but we visited in Autumn and would have loved more carpet and comfort in the room.
