Open from late March through the end of November, the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Campground is a great option for families. As part of the KOA Holiday brand, families can choose from RV hook-up sites, tent areas and cabins, which come with one or two bedrooms, kitchens, refrigerators, cable TV, free Wi-Fi and can sleep up to six people. The campground has a zero-entry kiddie pool for little ones with a rain tree feature, as well as a pool for teens and adults. Enjoy outdoor activities, like lawn games and sports, or hop on the tour shuttle and visit Dollywood for some theme park fun. Other local attractions include museums and adventure parks with zip lining and go karts. There is no onsite dining at the campground, but cabins come with kitchens, and a universal kitchen, plus firewood, is available for those roughing it. Guest laundry is available, too. Pets are allowed in some areas of the campground.

This area is a great place for a family vacation. The concentration of the national park, attractions, activities, restaurants, shopping, and other things too much to mention. Our family came with many tastes and we all enjoyed ourselves.

Was very happy with campground when we first arrived, Staff was wonderful, Was having a problem with power when we first arrived, Could not run both Ac’s in our motor home, office had someone to come take a look, and the maintenance worker they sent was scared to death of the electric, my husband had to tell them the breaker was off before they would even look, needless to say that they were no help after5 hours I requested to move and we did 3 sites down and it was fine, fast forward a couple of days and I go in to pay for a additional night, and they said I was paid up till Thursday , and I said are you sure the girl said iam positive and even gave me a new tag for mini van,There was a bad storm Wednesday night and our beloved black cat Cole got out right before the storm and we couldn’t find him no where, A couple people in campground sited him Thursday am, well iam disabled and have a vey hard time walking,So went up to office to tell them about my cat and pay for another night and see if I could rent golf cart for a couple hours so I could call out to my cat, well it was a total different set of young ladies at office then the first half of week and very very nasty, They explained to me I would need to pay 75 for use of golf cart all day, could not use for just a couple of hours, and I said ok if you must, and then proceeded to tell me why I was trying to skip out on paying for Wednesday night, I explained everything and I asked if they could contact the girls that were working, The young lady that was speaking to me went and got the manager, and in front of other customers said that I was a lier there was nothing wrong with my electric, per her maintenance person, and that she knows her employees no one would have told me my site was paid for when it stated in the computer it wasn’t, I tried to explain I thought maybe they were giving us a nite because of issue with electric, that is why I didn’t Pursue it, I never once said I wouldn’t pay just trying to explain why I had not, so after very blatantly calling me a lier she left counter to go back in office, The girl said she would need drivers license to rent golf cart I go out to car to get, tell my hubby about it and says we aren’t staying here, So after all that didn’t get to continue to look for cat, and had to come home broken hearted with out our cat, charged my card for that Wednesday night and took away my ability to write a review on there website, Sorry for the long post, But no would not ever stay at this kampground again
