Book well in advance if you’d like to stay at the lodge, as only four cabins are available on the 50-acre property. The rustic cabins are perfect for families, with separate bedrooms, living rooms and fully equipped kitchens. Cabins feature flat-screen TV’s and Wi-Fi. The property have a two-acre pond for fishing, and the lodge is located near Bryce and Zion National Parks. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is two hours away.
Cabins available include The Bunkhouse, with one queen bedroom, a full bathroom, kitchenette, living area with sofa bed, small dining table and a front porch. The Barn is a two-story cabin with an upstairs bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds. Downstairs, a living room can sleep two on the Murphy bed, for a total of six guests. The Barn also offers a kitchenette. The Farmhouse is a completely restored house with three bedrooms with four queen beds, sleeping up to eight. Three bathrooms, a living room, a full kitchen with Viking appliances, fireplace and more make this the best of the options on the property. The Log Cabin, built in 1860, is only available for two guests.

We chose Cottonwood Meadow Lodge as a different type of lodging on our latest trip out west. We stayed at the bunkhouse which has 1 bedroom, a living room/kitchen/dining area and 1 full bath. I think this is best served for only 2 people. It also has a beautiful front porch. But what it really has is quiet. We sat out in the evening and remarked at how quiet it was. Beautiful breeze and plenty of places to walk especially around the pond. Jan and Jerry were very inviting and engaging hosts. Jan had even baked us a bread which she gave us upon arrival. We would go back but maybe stay in one of the larger cabins.

Stayed in the Bunk House for 3 nights with my husband and 7 year old son. Perfect in every way. Grounds were beautiful, Bunk House was comfortable and had everything you could need. I am picky about 2 things when I travel... have good coffee and good eggs (we have chickens and are use to fresh eggs.) The Bunk house greeted us with fresh coffee beans and fresh eggs in our fridge. Jan, Jerry and Jesse and cats were all delightful, gracious hosts. The location was excellent to Bryce. A truly wonderful stay!
