The Ritz London defines elegance and luxury (it even requires a dress code on some floors, if that’s any indication), and is notably one of the esteemed chain’s best hotels. Yet, it still caters to families with a Kidz at the Ritz program, which includes children’s bathroom amenities, robes and slippers; in-room books, DVDs and game consoles; special treats at evening turndown; complimentary ice cream; children’s room service and restaurant menus; complimentary baby cots and babysitting services. The hotel also has its own Teen Concierge, who will provide your own teenagers with tips and ideas for things to do around London.
Rooms and suites, each lavishly furnished and decorated, feature beyond-comfortable bedding, complimentary Wi-Fi and minibars, and guests have the option to order complimentary newspapers (of their choice) to their door, as well as 24-hour room service. Turndown services and on-demand movies are also available. Rooms are fairly small–they start around 250 square feet–so we suggest a suite if you’d like more space to spread out.
The hotel has three fancy restaurants: The Ritz Restaurant, The Palm Court and the Rivoli Bar. If the kids are well-behaved are older, take the opportunity to dine at one of them.
