Great area

I love staying downtown while in Chicago and the Renaissance is my first choice if I can get a decent rate. It can be higher than other Marriott properties but the location is great and the river view rooms are the best. I am not a big fan of the noisy lobby area but the Concierge lounge is great and the outdoor patio is wonderful when weather permits.

Chicago weekend

Great location for a weekend downtown. Very nice lobby and bar area. Consierge was a little slow - never picked up phone and wasn’t at the stand very often. Walls are a little thin and kinda noisy, but I would still stay here again.
