This charming little boutique inn, with just 24 guest rooms, is a part of the historic district in Barbados. Parts of the building date to 1804 when it was a rum storage facility. Today, the rooms are modern; the pool quiet, yet refreshing; and dining, a family-style affair. The beach at Carlylse Bay is about two blocks away and really one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

Small welcoming hotel about 3miles from Bridgetown a definite personal touch the food is excellent, nothing is to much trouble for the staff. The rooms are well presented clean towels and bedding every day. It is situated about 500 yards from the beach. All the amenities of a large hotel but with the personal touch

We had amazing time at this little gem of a place. We were welcomed by a warm smile from Sharon. She was front desk personnel. Our check in was swift and friendly. For the days Sharon was on she was so helpful, professional as well as informative.
Rooms we had looked tired but hey they were all clean and large - infact the whole areas were very cleaned to a high standard. This place is under renovation we were told....it is not for the young who are looking for constant loud entertainment - that’s in Oistins and Lawrence Gap....Island Inn is more for mature like minded people looking for relaxation, good food, drinks, location and friendly guests. Only thing lacking is better internet service....none in bedrooms and the one in communal areas were VERY slow and none existent. We ended up spending a day at the Virgin club for that!
Island inn is 5 minutes away from the sandy beach, 15 -20 minutes drive to Oistins, Lawrence gap
Food and drinks were plenty and good for that - also we had plenty of jokes and laughter from the restaurant staff EVERY meal times....thank you Angela, Doris (who also doubled up as front desk personnel) Jeanette, Marlene, Ricia, Sheena and also to our wonderful chefs - Cherrianne and Julia food was very much on point ????????
Looking for nice cocktails Hasani - H as he likes to be called, Lamar and Earl are your guys....keep the drinks and jokes coming guys.
Everyday was fun day at Island Inn to be honest with even surprise resident guests. Keep your eyes peel for a monkey, birds and lizards.
I am sorry if I have left anyone out - you are just as important.... so to the Island Inn team thank you and keep up the fantastic job.
We will be back, i understand why your guests keep coming back!!
