I recently went here with my family for two nights and were very pleased. Our room (two queens, first floor) was huge and very clean. The ground are well manicured, and the pools were in good shape. We were able to walk to dinner, there are three restaurants adjacent to the hotel as well as a beach shop (Marconi’s) that sell Gifford’s Ice Cream! My son was very happy about that. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal next door at VanRensselear’s.

We stopped in this motel for 5 nights in July 2019 in a superior family room. The room was huge and had everything we needed, including cable TV for the evenings, coffee machine and a large fridge for drinks and food. The room rate includes a continental style breakfast which provided everything we needed at the start of each day. We also enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. The motel also provides a free gas BBQ with utensils which we used one evening. They also lit a campfire every night which was great for relaxing around. In addition there is a table tennis table with good quality bats/paddles provided. The motel is located just at the end of the Marconi beach road and has 3 restaurants immediately adjacent to it so the location is excellent. Finally, they also provide a few free basic cycles which we used. The staff are friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for a relaxed comfortable vacation stay. The only very minor negative comment I have is that no one asked us if we enjoyed our stay so I didn't have an opportunity to complement them!!
