This was definitely a highlight in a month long vacation. The hotel was built in 1939, but you would never know that because of how well its been maintained and updated. Our room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. We were on the front, facing the road, and I thought if would be noisy being a Fri and Sat night stay, and yet we slept very sound. quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was incredible, hot eggs, saugage, hot cereal, yogurts, fruits, juices, etc. Much more than I had expected from a hotel. You felt like family here.

We traveled for 16 days, and this 2-night stay was a little over halfway in our trip. We enjoyed the location, the environment, homey place and delightful stadd so much that we requested an extra day. our room was on level 2, on the end and it felt like our private apartment, as we overlooked the dunes to the Atlantic. This allowed us to quickly make our way to the beach for a gorgeous sunrise, on both mornings. Breakfast was wonderful, and evening snack was much appreciated. I did our laundry here, as I enjoyed my time in the beautiful lobby while my clothes washed and dried. I cannot give this place enough props. I hope it never changes!
