I stayed in this hotel a few years ago and loved it. This tinge i stayed in the second building. I knew that it did not have an elevator when i booked, so that was ok. I did not expect for the smoking area to be right below my room though. The only beach access was right through the smoking area as well. The smoke drifted up to the room balcony and was pulled into the stairwell. This is really unpleasant for nonsmokers. Along with that the room was just not in great shape. It was huge and seemed mostly clean, but there were many maintenance issues like dirt and stains on the door, door jambs, walls etc. There we re many areas with wear and chipped paint etc. Also, the breakfast was pretty bad. At $229 a night on off season. I expected something a little nicer and was truly disappointed because my last stay was a completely different experience. I am affraid that this hotel has gotten popular enough that the quality of service and maintenance has been allowed to slip.

We spent two wonderful nights in mid October. The room was very clean and the view to the north was excellent (3rd floor). It is located right on the beach with an access from the pool area. The hotel provides a very good breakfast with many choices which changed each morning. A special touch was the no charge to use the laundry machines. The staff were customer oriented and the price of the room was more than competitive with other motels in the area. Highly recommended if you are in the area. Many excellent restaurants nearby.
