Marriott’s Lakeshore Reserve in Orlando is the only Marriott timeshare resort co-located with two luxury hotel brands: The JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton. Located on a sprawling setting, the resort lines the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club’s 18-hole championship golf course.

Both the exterior and interior design blend Mediterranean influences, and themed outdoor courtyards create spaces for enjoying nature. Villas and Townhomes
The resort offers spacious villas and townhomes, which are perfect for large families. One-, two- and three-bedroom villas can accommodate up to 12 guests, and townhomes come in two- and three-bedroom variations.

All units offer plentiful amenities, including fully equipped gourmet kitchens with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances; spacious living and dining areas; multiple flat-screen TVs with DVD players; oversized showers with dual shower heads and a washer and dryer. Cribs are available upon request. Many units also have balconies.

Pool
To cool off from the hot Florida sun, the resort's main, zero-entry pool is ideal for young swimmers; it also has two dueling waterslides and two whirlpool spas.

Activities
The resort prepares a weekly schedule of activities for families. Choices might include morning yoga, tie-dying shirts, family Iron Chef, volleyball, board game competitions, nature walks and more. A nice place to enjoy family time is among the tranquil fountains, themed courtyards, covered areas that offer shade off the main resort pool, activity lawns for outside games and the outdoor grilling facilities.

Nearby Fun
The beach is about an hour away, but makes the perfect day trip. Other nearby activities include horseback riding, tennis, golf, museums, and, of course, Disney World, Universal Studios and the works. The concierge can assist your family in making arrangements.

Blossom's Bar and Grill
This cozy restaurant serves typical pub fare, including sandwiches, salads, snacks and specialty drinks. It is open for lunch, and the dress code is casual. There are limited selections for children.

The Marketplace
This quick and convenient shop is perfect for snacks, cold drinks, ice cream and other necessities. It also featuring Starbucks coffee and specialty espresso drinks. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

All About the Extras
Disney World tickets can be purchased at the hotel (for the same price as they are at the park), so you can avoid waiting in long lines.
For Halloween, the resort offers a Haunted Pool Deck event, where lifeguards and activities agents dress up and perform for the kids. There are also events for the Fourth of July and Christmas.

Although babysitting services are not offered through the hotel, the concierge can arrange a third-party service.

The Art of Smart Timing
The resort sees steady demand year-round, though November through February is a slightly slower time (minus Christmas week.) January and February can be chilly, especially at night. Also, in the summer, thunderstorms occur almost daily.

Getting There
Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve is about a 15 to 20 minute drive from Orlando International Airport via 528 West to the John Young Parkway exit. Grande Lakes resort entrance is at the corner of John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway. Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve is located a short drive into the campus, adjacent to the JW Marriott hotel.

Getting Around
Round-trip shuttle service from the JW Marriott to the major theme parks is complimentary. See a schedule at the JW Marriott hotel.

The majority of guests rent vehicles from the airport, and there is also a Hertz location at the JW Marriott where guests can rent a vehicle. A car is only mandatory you wish to travel beyond the theme park shuttle offering and prefer more flexibility with your itinerary.

Parking onsite at Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve is also complimentary versus the adjacent hotels, which charge a daily fee.
