Over night before cruise.

This was a very nice Motel. Not brand new, but in very good shape and the help was marvelous. I certainly would say there are again if I go to Alaska.The room was clean and the service was way above average. Alaska it is a special place and deserves consideration as a destination.

Nice rooms, overworked staff

The rooms were nice clean and tastefully decorated, the beds were big but hard. My back is killing me after one night. There is noise from the airplanes and the AC was so loud: on and off at night that I had to turn it off. They have a nice free breakfast buffet and a nice little indoor pool and whirlpool with an outdoor patio and a small fitness room.

Not near downtown and they don’t offer a downtown shuttle - about $13 Uber ride to downtown. They have a free shuttle to and from airport but be sure to sign up the day before.

They were fully booked and very busy so didn’t gave our room ready until 7:00 pm and didn’t have a driver available for us to airport, but they agreed to pay for our cab to the airport. (That’s why you need to be sure to sign up the day before).

I feel bad for the staff who are overworked. The cleaning staff worked 12 hour to finish the rooms and the front desk was franticly trying to help everyone by herself. Hire more people!
