The hotel appeared clean and functioning when we arrived, but our bathroom sink was clogged and then the toilet clogged. Our sink drained verrry slowly and the toilet overfilled and spilled onto the floor. It was disgusting and a complete mess, we couldn't use the bathroom at all. We called for maintenance and front desk said they would be right there and no one showed up. When I called again after no one showed up, he said maintenance wouldn't be there until 10am! Well, check-out is 11AM so what's the point! I asked for a manager and was told the manager is not there until Tuesday (I was there sat/sun).

They offered no compensation or anything! The staff are poorly trained to handle these kind of situations. My husband and I had to use the public bathroom downstairs to get ready and couldn't even shower. What a complete mess and POOR SERVICE!! I will never recommend or stay at this place again.

Of note, another reviewer mentioned the floors were sticky and gross. Maybe a toilet was clogged and the prior customers literal crap was on the floor!!!! UGH!!

Based on other reviews, I was hesitant to stay here because someone noted the parking lot was set back and empty restaurant in front of hotel. I called the front desk and they told me there was security so we booked. We arrived late after a concert downtown and was pleasantly surprised that the prior reviews were no longer accurate as there is an open restaurant at intersection of hotel and the parking lot was extremely well lit. The staff was courteous and the free breakfast had plenty of choices. Also very convenient to Florida Turnpike. I recommend this hotel.
