Booking this place sight unseen, not familiar with the area and I could not have been more pleased. Perfect ocean view, right on the beach. Getting up early to watch the sunrise was breathtaking! The breakfast food was delicious and filling and the cinnamon rolls were SO good! The rooms were very spacious, clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Most mornings, I took breakfast back to my room and ate on my balcony watching the ocean. I saw dolphins on my last morning there. We walked down to the pier and had lunch one day and there were a few great restaurants close by to choose from. Definitely not crowded even though it was the beginning of Biketoberfest. Perfect escape for the weekend and exactly what I needed.

I'm very happy to read that rooms have been renovated. Desperately needed! Our stay was a small, dingy and stinky room. And definitely not worth the price. Charged a parking fee also. We did not meet one friendly associate during our stay. Appeared no one was very interested in serving customers. Although, renovated at this time, NEVER again for me. Not up to IHG standards. Note: Must check out beach towels from front desk. Make sure to turn in to a person or you will be charged.
