This was a family owned motel in Daytona Beach Shores Florida. Sadly the place was recently demolished to make way for yet another over priced condo. If you liked this establishment I have a suggestion. A block away you'll find the Sand Castle Motel. It is another family owned enterprise. Just last week they provided a complimentary Thanksgiving meal for their guests. Highly recommended!

We visited in May of this year for our fourth stay at this hotel and it was wonderful as always, but I told my husband during that week that I had a premonition it was our last trip there. I took that week as kind of a goodbye. We received a letter today from the owners informing us that due to health problems they had sold the hotel and were retiring after 27 years. We are very sad to see a family owned hotel right on the ocean, with an old Florida atmosphere like I grew up with, have to end. We thank Pierre and Marilyn for the great hospitality and beautiful memories.
