We arrived the first young girl on reception was great, after noticing the floors were all wooden we went back to reception and asked if they had a top room floor. Pat very rudely told us we had checked in early and no rooms were cleaned yet we said we would happily wait. We checked again at 5 she told us even more rudely that, whole top floor was taken and she could give us earplugs. We later found out the top floor was no where near full also it was obvious looking at the parking lot and the lights off in rooms that the top floor was not full.

The rooms are not soundproof you can hear people talking next door and they were not noisy. They also don’t provide any coffee other than at breakfast. It’s an overpriced hotel that under delivers.

Jim is a wonderfully friendly and amazing bartender. He always remembers us and my husband said he makes the absolute best dirty martinis! A trip to the Embassy is not complete until we see Jim. We have been coming to the Embassy in Destin for many years to celebrate our Anniversary and he always looks for us. We love this hotel and recommend it highly.
