Overview

The Holiday Inn Winter Haven is my top choice if you’re committed to staying in the small community surrounding LEGOLAND Florida. Just three miles from the park, this super-clean hotel opened in 2008 and gleams with modern style from top to bottom. Every room boasts a mini-fridge, free Wi-Fi, a huge flat-screen TV and a granite-tiled bathroom. The Holiday Inn also has a sparkling outdoor pool, a very large fitness room with televisions attached to the cardio machines, coin-laundry and a full-service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only bummer is that a complimentary breakfast is not part of the deal.

Nice hotel

New look, I think it has been remodeled somewhat recently. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Nice little bar and restaurant. I had a very good sandwich and the breakfast was well done and reasonably priced. I will return there.
The price was very competitive and the location for my needs was excellent.

Need some changes

Room was spotless very large, we had an accessible room. We had booked due to Hurricane Dorian was suppose to hit Florida on Monday, so we checked in Saturday pm. Sunday we did their buffet breakfast. It should be a complimentary breakfast. It was not very good, plastic forks,paper plates, etc. we paid $10.00 each. then as we watched the storm stall on Monday AM asked the front desk for an extra day, no they were overbooked sorry. We are in a manufactured home, seniors. We left Monday 2pm turned in our key cards, because now it looked like the weather would be bad on Tuesday. Funny thing now as I hand the front desk the keys, actually checking out a day ahead, they want to offer us an extension. Unbelievable!!! no thank you!!!
