Overview

For skiing or snowboarding, you can’t beat the ski-in/ski-out access of the massive Zephyr Mountain Lodge, just 100 feet from one of the ski area’s main chairlifts. The one- to three-bedroom units in this condominium hotel have full kitchens and gas fireplaces (no individual washers or dryers, though; those are elsewhere in the building). Decorated in a luxe mountain rustic style (think lots of wood and natural stone accents), the lodge is one of the nicer family-friendly places you can stay in Winter Park. A fitness center and four outdoor hot tubs are onsite.

Great location at Winter Park to take advantage of the ski area's earliest ever season opening

by osoenerljs

Booked this hotel last minute when Winter Park announce a surprise earlier opening date - November 2, 2019 - setting a record for its earliest season opening ever thanks to plentiful October snow in Colorado. Located right at the base of Winter Park, just had to walk out the back door to the lifts. Room had a nice view of the mountain with a small deck. Got a great early season rate for a ski-in, ski-out lodge. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a full one-bedroom condo with kitchen, fireplace and deck. Furnishings were a bit dated but very clean, comfortable, roomy and convenient to the slopes.

In August not a whole lot there But paying for gondola ride and other activities in Winter Park, Co

Ski lodge but overrated in their room decor and items are old and no kitchen table.
After I called them to make sure there was things for kids ages 6 to 10 to do. They said yes. Yes and yes, but if you come from East coast donot expect a lot. Skiing is the main thing and biking.
