I'll start out by saying this resort was a little too large for my personal preference. I like smaller resorts that you can get to know the entertainers & guests better. There were too many people to make a real connection with anyone. This is the first time this has happened since I started travelling.
Check in was quick & easy. Attentive staff.
Food was par for the course for Dominican. Nothing special.
In saying that, Lazaro & Doris in the main buffet always treated us well, as we were a group of 9. They always made sure they had a table for all of us! Thanks to you two!!
The beach is awesome. Clean water & no seaweed on the beach. Lots of chairs to choose from.
I was extremely disappointed in the lack of intervention from the management in keeping children out of the swim up bar pool. A bar is no place for children. Not only did they splash & carry on, they were jumping onto the tables! No one said anything.
Not good. I won't go back to this resort for this reason alone.

We are currently at this resort and see it has many positives...great beach with lots of lounge chairs, clean warm pools, fun activites throughout the day, tasty food: however a drawback arrived with the weekend. Locals come in in groups of 8-10 minimum and the noise level [screaming and hollering] becomes unacceptable. Long lineups form in the buffet and it becomes really difficult to enjoy yourself. I feel we did not fly 4 hours, go through the airport hassle etc. to come for this. Also, twice/week there are adults only pool parties which means no evening show. If you are not into drunken pool parties, you are left with no entertainment at all. Once/week I could see but twice is a bit much in a 7-night stay! Overall, a lovely resort: these tow negatives could be easily remedied.
