Canopy beds, writing desks, marble bathrooms and club chairs are standard in the units. Guests enjoy terrycloth robes and flat-screen televisions. Suites feature separate living rooms, additional half baths or dining areas. A rooftop pool is surrounded by a wood deck with chaise lounges and cabanas. Swimmers can gaze out over the city. Above D.C. is a poolside lounge. Zentan is a casual, chic restaurant that serves top of the line Asian cuisine for all meals. This hotel is a shell of its former self as a Kimpton. The room had no amenities- no minibar, no robe, no coffee pot, not even water bottles- which I was told they didn’t have. There is no bar and the restaurant is not full service. Most of the time the doorman was no where to b found. Changed hotels after one night.

I am currently staying here. The best thing about this place is the location and the fact that the TV in my room doesn't default to those terrible hotel channels when you turn it back on.
This hotel charges a nightly resort or amenity fee but the reality is that there aren't any amenities to speak of. There is literally no room service option. No complimentary water bottles. The wifi is slow and not password protected like they try to make you think it is / an "amenity." My room key works to unlock the door about 30% of the time because something is wrong with the lock. There was a large wet spot on the carpet when I checked in. The thermostat is way off. Housekeeping did the lightest clean-up I've ever experienced in a hotel despite my generous tip. I remember staying here in the past and being satisfied with it, but apparently ownership has changed, and this place is just totally underwhelming now. Will try to avoid it in the future for sure.
