This is my frist time in this great hotel (several times before in NYC) and I must say that the different opinions and pictures published in the web about this hotel are true: excellent!!! It is a small one, kind of boutique, very comfortable and the staff very kind. If you can find an offer of a room including breakfast I would reccomend to take it because you will find plenty of good food...If you buy it separately it is expensive....
The only "low rated service" of this hotel is its elevator....they have only two working and they are small. You will have to be patient in order to take it.....

Spotless and huge (by NY standards!) room, good sleep quality.

The service was particularly notable; friendly, professional, looking for ways to help. (Full disclosure: never ventured into the restaurant or bar.)

Next to the bed is a light panel with buttons for each side of the bed, the desk, etc. Some people will love this, and love the comfort when waking in the middle of the night in a strange place. This "people" found the light disruptive, but leaned a pillow over it and that helped.

Note to management: thanks for the lighted makeup mirror, but um...have you tried using it? Can't stand very close because of the relative situation of it and the toilet. Also, putting on makeup above a toilet can have wet results. #eyepencilfallsintoilet #nofun. Small considerations for what is otherwise, my new favorite New York hotel.
