Overview

Set a stone’s through away from the Gateway Arch, the Drury Plaza Hotel is a historic property with tons of extras and family-friendly amenities. The building used to be an old hat factory, and has since been renovated to include spacious rooms, an indoor swimming pool with whirlpool and a beautiful lobby. One of the best parts about staying at the Drury is the fantastic free breakfast. A complimentary hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and other goodies is available each morning for guests. Plus, there’s a free “5:30 Kickback” served daily, which has hot snacks and beverages. Other amenities: free Wi-Fi, free popcorn and soda in the lobby, an hour of free long-distance calling and free HBO. There are microwaves and refrigerators in all rooms, and on-site laundry services are available.

It was close to the convention center

It was a pleasant stay overall. The front desk agents were rude, but the other workers who worked the dining area were very nice . It is a very safe hotel . I was there with my family and attending a church convention.

Family gathering

Our stay was excellent. We were in town for a family gathering . The staff was very friendly and anxious to make our stay a great experience. Being an early riser I came to the breakfast room early to let the rest of my family sleep. I was received happily, coffee was ready, I was offered fruit and muffins til breakfast time. We missed the kickback evening gathering. But we'll be back.
