I just got back from our 6 night stay at the Clementine Hotel. Overall I would say we will definitely consider a return stay at this hotel. Its proximity to Park is awesome in that it took us less than 15 min to walk to park with 2 kids (11 and 8 yrs). It seems much longer near end of trip when your feet are tired but overall nice and close. There is an option for transit (ART) but we found the wait at park for packed buses at end of day was longer then just walking.
The grocery delivery service was a nice add on. We sent in a request to have groceries delivered on day of our arrival so we could make lunch to take with us to park and it worked very well and saved us money only having to buy treats in park.
We did have a few issues as despite complaining every day for first few days that our message light on phone was blinking it remained on for all but one night during our stay. They stated the system was being updated and were super nice and very apologetic at front desk for the problem but for someone like me that gets annoyed by blinking lights, I found it frustrating at night. Similarly, having to call the front desk at 3am one night as our low battery beep on fire alarm went off intermittently was a hassle. The security guy was quick to respond and very accommodating not to wake the kids when he removed fire alarm so we could go back to sleep and system was operational the next day.
I have to give a huge thumbs up to the breakfast buffet staff. In particular Dulce and Mario. We have an 11 yr daughter with Celiac and needed not only gluten free options but reassurance that the food was being prepared safely to avoid cross contamination. Dulce was super kind and very knowledgeable from our first morning as she explained what was available and reassured me how it was prepared safely in the back. She recognized us right away after that and made my daughter feel so much better as you can imagine the last thing you want on a Disney vacation is to spend 4 hours throwing up. My daughter loved the waffles and had them every day but they did also offer gf bagels and bread. Mario appeared a day Dulce wasn’t there and he stepped right up and filled this role tremendously well. We loved that he was also able to sneak us a couple of apples on a day there was none available in buffet. These individuals see so many new people everyday but they sure stepped up to meet our needs without us even having to ask. I hope they get recognized for this.
The rooms themselves were nice and cleaned well everyday. We were disappointed we could hear but not see the fireworks in evening but it’s a small price. The kids loved the pool area and we took advantage of it a few times including a swim at 10:00PM after travelling all day. It is heated and wonderfully warm for us adults too. The hot tub was also nice to just sit in too.

The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was a great bonus. The mattress is worn out and needs to be replaced. We used the shuttle service which worked out great. I recommend this property and would book again.
