Overview

Embassy Suites Niagara Falls – Fallsview is one of many hotels that attract tourists in Niagara Falls, Canada — the biggest draw being it’s location on the famed falls. In fact, it’s technically the closest hotel to Niagara Falls. In 2015, the hotel underwent extensive renovations to practically become a new property, providing another reason for families to hang their hats here.

The hotel features renovated public areas and new restaurants, as well as updated guestrooms — some of which can sleep as many as 12 guests. Other hits include an indoor pool, views of the fireworks, package deals and easy access to all the area’s attractions.

Choose between Canadian & U.S. Falls Suites (floors 10 to 15 and 28 to 36) or Canadian Fallsview Suites, located on floors 10 through 15. The former provides views of both sides of the Falls, while the latter is limited to Canada (but is still an amazing view). These rooms cover 564 square feet and have two queen beds, plus a sofa bed, sleeping up to six guests. They have two flat-screen TVs. You can also select a 2 Queen Beds - Cityview Suite, but you won't have any good views.

1 King Bed
These rooms come in four variations: Whirlpool - Canadian and U.S. Fallsview Suite, Whirlpool - Canadian Fallsview Suite, Canadian & U.S. Fallsview Suite and Cityview Suite. All of them have large soaking tubs and sleep up to four people, except the Cityview Suite, which provides space for two.

Jr. Presidential - Whirlpool - Canadian and U.S. Fallsview Suite
These suites are situated on floors 28 to 36 and feature a separate bedroom and a living area with a sofa bed, sleeping a total of four guests. They also provide a Whirlpool and two flat-screen TVs.

Presidential Suites
There are a few Presidential Suites: 3 Room Presidential Suite (sleeps eight), 2-Room Presidential Suite (sleeps four) and Presidential Suite - 2 Queen Beds (sleeps eight). These rooms provide large dining tables, fireplaces and soaking tubs. The 3 Room Presidential Suites offers two mini-fridges and two microwaves, making them ideal for families traveling together.

2 Queen Beds - 2 Bathrooms - 4 Sofa Beds - Canadian and U.S. Falls Suite
This is the ultimate room for multigenerational groups, sleeping up to 12 guests and providing two bathrooms and a large dining table.

2 Beds - 2 Bathrooms - Canadian Fallsview Suite

Reviews

abusive, deaf ear, lying customer service

by AccessTravel2000

I stay at their hotel from the 11/9-11-11. They offer me the opportunity to upgrade my room so I did. The customer service rep. quote me a price and at check out the price was completely different. The part that upset me the most is that the SIGNATURE AGREE TO THE NEW PRICE WAS NOT MY SIGNATURE. Someone one else sign it. Avoid this hotel at all cost. The breakfast line will make you mad and the restaurant on site charges you $23 CAD for mozzarella stick with sauce. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! AVOID THE HOTEL.

Truly the Only Hotel to Stay When at the Falls (CA or US)

by CristinaP73

Our family really enjoyed our first time to Niagara Falls CA and our view from our suite was terrific. We had views of both the American and Canadian falls on the 40th floor. Caveat: the rooms on the website are totally photo shopped because none of the rooms have as amazing of an unobstructed view of the falls. Rather, you get a window that has a bar in the middle to prevent breakage and are thick and a bit cloudy. Still, our night in Niagara was freezing and snowing so it was great to enjoy just watching the falls from our room. The beds were very comfortable too and the bathroom was spacious with a large jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

Breakfast buffet was included but was average (just order the omelet bc everything else was meh) but service was helpful and attentive. Starbucks located on the first floor was awesome and direct access to the Falls Incline Railway would have been awesome except for the Railway being broken during our visit. Instead, we had to walk 15 minutes in the cold to actually get down to the Falls. It would have been nice in this instance for the hotel to start a shuttle to the Falls for guests. Also, note that you can valet park at a premium or pay a lower rate, leave your keys with the valet who parks it but then you have to get shuttled to your car to actually retrieve it which is located in a separate lot. Not ideal but I would still prefer to stay at this hotel than any other for the views and amenities.

Family Activities

Pool
The hotel offers an indoor, heated pool and two Whirlpools. There are no lifeguards on duty. The pool is open 6 a.m. to midnight. Outside, there's a patio for sunbathing.

Fireworks
The hotel provides amazing views of the fireworks that take place several nights a week in the summer months. Schedules vary.

Nearby Attractions
While you likely won't want to walk to nearby attractions, it's an easy drive or bus ride to Clifton Hill and Lundys Lane, both hubs for attractions and restaurants.

Family Dining

Complimentary Breakfast
Guests are treated to a hot breakfast daily, free of charge. Breakfast is served in Keg Steakhouse & Bar, and includes hot items, such as made-to-order omelets and waffles, and cold items that include cereal, fresh fruit, breads, pastries and more. Breakfast is typically served 7 to 10 a.m.

Evening Reception
The hotel provides a nightly reception with complimentary cocktails, mocktails and snacks for everyone to enjoy after a day spent exploring. Receptions are hosted between 5 and 6 p.m.

The Keg Steakhouse & Bar
The Keg is a national restaurant chain in Canada, and lucky for guests of Embassy Suites, there's a location right at the hotel. The restaurant is multi-level, providing spectacular views of Niagara Falls no matter where you sit. While it's ideal for couples or families with teens, young children are welcomed with a separate menu just for them. Hours are noon to 10 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and noon to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

T.G.I.Friday's
The hotel has a T.G.I.Friday's, open to guests and the general public. This location features large booths, perfect for families. Fare includes burgers, sandwiches and salads, plus an extensive list of appetizers, cocktails, and a separate children's menu. It's open 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Monday to Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Starbucks
The hotel also has a Starbucks, open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. It's located next to the hotel's business center, so visitors can grab a coffee before browsing the web (free of charge).

Getting There
Embassy Suites Niagara Falls - Fallsview is approximately one hour from Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Rent a car and plan to pay about $5 in tolls -- $1 in New York and $3.50 to cross Rainbow Bridge to Canada.

Getting Around
While the hotel is located on Niagara Falls, it's not within easy walking distance to other area attractions, such as Lundys Lane and Clifton Hill. You'll want a car to get around.

For Mom and Dad
Enjoy a date at The Keg, followed by an evening stroll along Niagara Falls. You might also want to utilize the hotel's private walkway to Casino Niagara for a few cocktails and rounds of Blackjack, or hang back in the hotel's lobby lounge, where live music is hosted on weekends.
