We booked our 2 week break via Tui.we have not been on an all inclusive holiday before and so we really did not have huge expectations, just very excited. We choose this hotel as its adult only and smaller than most. The hotel, grounds and rooms were all spotless. The staff were mainly very good. Our room was fantastic, large, bright, clean and very well equipped..large bed, safe, umberella, complimentary mini
Bar and hairdryer. The shower was great, spacious and powerful. Our room was on the second floor with a good size balcony. The room was close to the pools/beach and very quite. We tried all restaurants..food quality very good, although we were surprised that the Mexican food was very mild and the Italian restaurant portion size was extremly small.we have never seen so much food and so many choices, but i did find it difficult due to food allergies. The beach was lovely but limited brollies so the need to grab a sunbed early..which can be a bit wearing. We loved the wildlife amd the coffee shop especially tbe smoothies. The party pool was fine..but the music was at times very loud and repetitive. The facilites on offer after check out were brilliant. I enjoyed the evening shows and i thought the hotel tryed very hard with the day of the dead celerbrations and markets stalls. We enjoyed our holiday and would go back to this hotel.

The resort was really nice and we did the Privilage but found that it wasn't really necessary overall unless you had specific need for the extras. You also don't get to choose where your room is as you are in the building right next to the Lobby with a non working elevator. Personally I would of preferred a view of the ocean so next time we will just go standard. The animation team were great people and went out of their way to ensure that your time at the activities pool was fun, so salute to Arturo, Rodrigo, Naomi and Selza. They also did the evening shows and their people skills and talent was great to watch.
The food overall was very good and although La Dolce Vita and the Blue Moon have basically the same menu, we did try both. Our main dining was done at La Hacienda Buffet and there was always something to eat, especially the breads. El Charro for afternoon nachos and Mike's for morning cappuccino were good. All of the serving staff always went out of their way to ensure you had whatever you needed.
We met so many great fellow tourist from all over the world and it made everyday an adventure on who you'd meet and where they were from.
The only downside was that smoking was permitted outside the buildings on the property and around the pool. We found this a bit much as all you would see on the pathways and beside chairs would be cigarette butts. A designated smoking area for both the lobby area and the pool area might alleviate this issue.
